Bristol band Dwell drop final EP ‘We Love You All’ and call it a day

Bristol experimental noise rock band Dwell have just released their last EP ‘We Love You All’.

With the new slab of noise also sadly comes the announcement that they are to pull the plug on the band. They played many shows in the city over the last six years, including venues like The Croft and supporting the mighty and forward-thinking favourites The Naturals.

Speaking of the release vocalist Chris tells us: “I wanted to embrace the possibilities of the studio a bit more to record something really intense, at times maybe even over-the-top. I tried to include things we’d previously shunned: heavy layering, full-on digital distortion, sub bass frequencies, drum machines and broken guitar amps. I also wanted to make something that captured what we’ve felt when we’ve played the songs live: loads of adrenaline, feeling like you’ve got enough energy to run through a wall, and this weird kind of emotional intensity I’ve never been able to pin down. Hopefully anyone who listens feels the same.”
