Despite the fact that Gottwood is in the furthest point in Wales thousands of music lovers from around England and the world flock to dance in the long shadows of the welsh forrest every year in June. With impressive residencies from a truly collective reach of labels and artists like that of the tribal vibes and rhythm section.
The festival returns for its 8th year maintaining its credited intimacy by only releasing the limited amount of 5000 tickets. Originally the organisers intended to prevent the buying of tickets to those that hadn’t previously attended creating a strong sense of loyalty and passion towards the festival and their regular attenders. The popularity is set to grow this year, due to popular demand to allow newcomers to the festival, spreading the united community once more.
If you were to stop someone at the festival for a chat you would most likely find out they have come before, it is a truly loyal community untied in their passion for music. The beauty of Anglesea gives for a perfect location to chill out in the day after a long night of music. It’s an atmosphere like no other, the picturesque environment combined with the best dance music on offer. If you haven’t been we definitely recommend going and checking it out for a rare and euphoric experience.
