Downtown Boys to bring their inspired punk Mississippi Studios

Rolling Stone called Downtown Boys “America’s most exciting punk band” and this Thursday these punks will tear up Mississippi Studios.

Downtown Boys formed in Providence, RI in 2011, and have garnered massive attention with with their diy socially conscious punk rock.  Before signing to Sub-pop for the release of their third album ‘Cost Of Living’, Downtown Boys self released their debut album and released their sophomore album on Don Giovanni Records.  Now with Sub-Pop Records, Downtown Boys have the chance to deliver their socially conscious messages to larger crowds.  If you’re in Portland missing Downtown Boys’ performance would be a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions when they take over Mississippi Studios with Lithics, Little Star, and Cool Flowers this Thursday.

Below is the new video for ‘Somos Chulas’ by Downtown Boys.
